Sirens a'Sea A wave of the sea takes on significant meaning when the life below it is reflected in its undulated rippled form. The aqua blue pattern that emerges lyrically from left to right, contain the various forms, sizes and colors of aquatic creatures that reside in the warmer regions of our oceans and coral reefs. The singular image of the yellow and blue Emperor Angel fish on the upper left corner of the painting is a harbinger of movement and life that flows ahead of it under the sea. The combination of green sea turtle, manatee, banner fish, have the collateral effect of one massive moving image full of underwater transparency, begging the viewer to decipher the individual parts from the whole. Look closely how the flippers of the manatees and sea turtle mimic the wave in the ocean above that crests into one flourishing white cap. This flow of oceanic life is a siren call, a reminder for attention, of how coexistence is paramount for the survival of underwater species that live on or near the coral reef ecosystem.
